Pretty in Pink!

Poem zigzag dress, $90 / Sergio Rossi pointy toe heels, $535 / Tula leather handbag, $75 / Juicy Couture fragrance / OPI nail polish, $26

Chevron started it’s way on the fashion scenes through interiors and small accessories (or a blog design like this one). I feel like I was slightly ahead of this particular trend although I haven’t really been brave enough to add anything to my closet clothing wise just yet. However, I am loving this black and white chevron dress, it’s just subtle enough as not to say “I’m wearing chevron everybody!!!”.

If you do plan on wearing chevron it’s always best to keep accessories minimal since the bold pattern is already a statement. I’ve put together this outfit as an example. A basic black clutch (because this will be just below the waistline near the belt) with a pair of pink shoes to compliment the color in the belt. Nail polish is always a win/win and this OPI color ‘Suzi’s Hungary Again’ would be perfect for the look.

Not including bags and small accessories, do you currently have chevron patterns in your closet?

  1. I really, really love that dress. The little pink belt is just perfect. And I must have that nail polish, what a pretty pink! I really want to pick up a few pieces of chevron this spring. I just got some fun pillows for my patio furniture
