This three-masted sailing beauty for the Colombian Navy made a stop to the Honolulu Harbor over the weekend. The Gloria serves as a floating school to the Colombian Navy and during their stop here the cadets gave a tour and by tour I mean they greeted us (as well as their English would allow) and let us walk around and take a few pictures of their ship. This time my exclusive photographer…aka my husband and I got a picture together, thanks to a kind tourist returning the favor.
I felt like a celebrity for a moment posing with this young officer while his shipmates snapped away….. I had to wonder if he thought I was someone else….I don’t speak the language so anything is possible. It was all very confusing..ha! But hey…being old enough to be his mother….I was flattered none-the-less.
As usual, XJ Creations with his keen eye for photography caught some amazing shots of this beautiful ship. Seriously, I’ve got one talented husband.
So let’s get to it, here is what I’m wearing…
- Top- Gap
- Cutoff Shorts- 1969 Summer Cut-Offs Gap
- Shoes- Steve Madden Espadrilles circa 2010
- Bracelets- Rhea bangle and J. Crew bamboo
- Earrings- Stella and Dot Garden Party Chandelier available in Green
- Clutch- Banana Republic circa 2012. Similar Gap
