6. The One Potato Two Potato Hawaiian BBQ Potato chips didn’t even make it as far as the beach. If there is any way to make a potato chip a little healthier this might be it….I’ll take it since I love a greasy chip every now and then.

Spring is in the air and I cannot get enough of pastels and soft colors this time of year. The house comes fully furnished with everything from a gorgeous canopy bed along with the bedding.   A living room furniture set, dining room table and chairs, not to mention all of the intricate pieces for a dream closet.  The kitchen is full of  gadgets, pots and pans,  food and serving pieces for Barbie to entertain in style with.   There are two  elevators, one that goes from the amazing dream closet to the second floor bathroom. I don’t know about you, but I wish I had one of those in my own house, how awesome would that be!?  The first thing my daughter did was put all of her Barbie clothes in the closets and drawers.  The main elevator will take Barbie to each of the three floors, my daughter loves this feature.  We invited her BFF over to play for the afternoon!

So let’s talk construction. The printed instructions were not particularly helpful, there wasn’t a good step-by-step included.  I proceeded thinking, how hard can it be? I’m that girl that can usually throw something together without a tutorial.  In this case, I was not. I attempted it on my own  but realized quite early on that I was going to need tutorial video and follow it through every intricate detail.  Below is the video I used, they talk slow but trust me, you’ll appreciate it in the end.

How to Assemble the 2013 Barbie Dreamhouse

The video is very detailed and made putting the house together a cinch…especially that elevator. It took me a little over an hour, mostly because I organized pieces before starting the project. The next morning my daughter woke up to an amazing dream house.  The look on her sweet little face was priceless and honestly, how I would have LOVED this house as a child.  The Barbie Dreamhouse can be purchased at Walmart and retail stores nationwide.  The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price is $184.99.

This house is sure to entertain for hours.
