Monday Makeup & Beauty: Birchbox Hair Product Favorites

Over the last year I’ve been introduced to some pretty fabulous products that I wouldn’t have otherwise heard of if not for my monthly Birchbox. Today I thought I would give you the list of some of my favorite hair products.

I just discovered the N.4 Non-Aerosol hairspray in last months box and it has quickly become my favorite. I have very thick hair and this stuff has some serious hold without feeling heavy.
My hairstylist always encourages dirty hair for styling. This was a tough one for me because what can I say…I like clean hair. However, if there is a certain look I’m going for…like say…calm hair…which my hair is not when its clean. I will use the dirty hair and give it a spray with Klorane the next day before styling. It works like a dream.
Perfect for unmanageable, thick and unruly wet hair. The Beauty Protector detangler is amazing. I use it for both my daughter and myself. AND it smells good.

Monday Makeup: Birchbox

This is the first chance I’ve been able to try the products in the December Birchbox believe it or not!

Hello by Harvey Prince is a nice light scent that would be perfect for Spring. It sort of reminds me of Clinique’s Happy. The perfume is a combination of citrus and floral and it ‘s made with eco-friendly ingredients which is never a bad thing.
Number 4 High Performance Hair Care non-aerosol hairspray is made with humidity resistant technology and heliogenol to protect colors and untreated hair against free radical damage. I’m pleasantly surprised with 4High Peformance. It isn’t super heavy and it smells nice too…for hairspray it smells nice I should say.
Manna Shimmer glow lotion has just enough shimmery glow without going completely over the top by mixing it with your foundation.
Embryolisse is nice but feels heavy which is something I’m not a fan of .

Monday Makeup: November Birchbox

This months Birchbox had a few new favorites, I’ll be adding to my list. Here were the contents.

Eyeko Skinny Mini Liquid eyeliner was nice but I personally don’t prefer a liquid eyeliner. However, it goes on very nicely with no mess.
Color Club Professionals nail polish in “On the Rocks” will be the perfect polish to wear for the Holidays. Big fan!
Vasanti Brighten Up enzymatic face rejuvenator is a good facial cleanser with the microderm crystals was nice but I felt it was harder to wash off than most and it didn’t leave my face feeling really clean. I would give it a 6 on a scale of 1-10.
Mightly Leaf Tea, yum! Everyone of these teas smells amazing.

I’m excited to see what the December Birchbox will bring!
