Tasteful Tuesday: How to Style a Cocktail Party

Cocktail Party

It really doesn’t take a whole lot of effort to create a fun and memorable cocktail party. Simply grab a  few inexpensive party items like a set of polka dot straws and fun coasters to get the party started.

Looking for a set of cocktail glasses and appetizer plates that will fit any occasion? Well these Mikasa glasses are not only fun but timeless and check out these great gold chevron and Ikat pattern appetizer plates. They would easily fit in for all occasions you are hosting. I consider gold a neutral that goes with everything. Just by simply changing up your accent colors to fit the occasion you will be on your way to hosting some amazing thematic parties.

Speaking of getting the party started, we are seeing a huge trend in bar carts. I personally love this idea because in my little old house, I don’t have a lot of counter space or table space for entertaining. It is nice to have a fully stocked bar cart in the corner to direct guests to as they come through the door.

What are some of your go-to pieces for entertaining?
